Tixel

Tixel® is a noninvasive, needle-free skin rejuvenation treatment that uses controlled thermal energy to improve skin texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and overall skin quality while stimulating natural collagen production

About Tixel

Tixel® is a versatile, noninvasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses controlled thermal energy delivered through a medical-grade titanium tip—without needles, lasers, or radiofrequency. Brief contact with the skin creates a controlled thermal effect that stimulates the skin’s natural renewal process and collagen production, helping improve fine lines, wrinkles, texture, tone, and overall skin quality.

One of the advantages of Tixel is its ability to be customized to your skin, concerns, and desired downtime. Treatment intensity can range from lighter treatments with minimal downtime to more intensive rejuvenation. Tixel can be used on delicate areas, including around the eyes, and is suitable for a wide range of skin types, making it an incredibly versatile treatment.

Tixel can also enhance the delivery of specially selected topical products following treatment, allowing ingredients to more effectively reach the targeted layers of the skin. This gives us another way to customize treatment protocols for concerns such as hyperpigmentation, redness and rosacea-prone skin, acne scarring, skin laxity, and overall skin rejuvenation. Your treatment and topical products are selected based on your individual skin needs and goals.

About The Treatment

What should I expect at my Tixel appointment?

Your Tixel® appointment will begin with a consultation and skin assessment to discuss your concerns, goals, and desired level of downtime. Your skin will then be cleansed and prepared before your customized Tixel treatment begins. Settings are selected specifically for your skin and treatment goals, allowing us to adjust the intensity and depth of treatment based on the results you’re looking to achieve.

During treatment, you may feel brief warmth or a quick heating sensation as the Tixel tip makes contact with the skin. Treatment is relatively quick, and specialized topical products may be applied afterward based on your individual skin concerns. Before you leave, we’ll review what to expect during the healing process and provide detailed aftercare instructions.

How many Tixel treatments will I need?
  • Answer is “The number of Tixel® treatments needed will depend on your skin concerns, treatment goals, and the intensity of each treatment. For optimal results, most patients benefit from a series of approximately 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. More significant concerns, such as acne scarring, pigmentation, or skin laxity, may require additional treatments.

Because Tixel stimulates your skin’s natural renewal and collagen production, results continue to develop over time. After completing your initial series, occasional maintenance treatments may be recommended to help maintain your results and overall skin quality.

What type of Tixel packages do you offer?
  • Tixel® treatments are available individually or as packages of three, with package savings available for the eyes, perioral area, full face, and full face + neck. Treatments can also be customized with add-ons including VAMP® (PDRN), hands, and décolleté.
  • We also offer specialized full-face Tixel series designed around specific skin concerns, including aging and skin laxity, hyperpigmentation, and acne or acne scarring. Not sure which option is right for you? Full package details are available through our Vagaro booking site, or you can schedule a consultation or contact MABL Skin Co. directly to discuss your skin concerns and treatment goals.
Is there downtime after Tixel?

Downtime after Tixel® varies depending on the intensity of your treatment and your individual skin response. Immediately afterward, your skin may feel warm or similar to a mild sunburn for a few hours. Redness is also expected and may last anywhere from several hours to a few days, with more aggressive treatments typically resulting in more noticeable downtime.

As the skin begins to heal, it may feel dry, rough, or slightly “sandpaper-like” for several days, and mild flaking may occur. Tiny treatment marks can also be temporarily visible, particularly with more intensive settings. Bruising or bleeding is uncommon. Most patients are able to return to their normal activities quickly, although your skin may look and feel like it is healing for several days. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided based on the intensity of your treatment.
